Marine-Grade Pressure-Treated Lumber

Whether you're planning to build a commercial deck overlooking the water or a residential dock for personal use, Keys Deck & Dock Supply is here to help you choose the best building material for your needs. We specialize in marine grade lumber that will to provide you with the best framing material for your marine project.

Marine-treated lumber materials are perfect for the construction of docks, marinas, piers, barges, and any other structure located on or near a significant body of water. While wood was once among the most common resources used for structures along the water, it doesn't stand up long in the elements and isn't ideal for this type of environment.

Wood is extremely porous by nature, requiring intense pressure treatments and sealing chemicals to help block out moisture and preserve its structural integrity. Alternatively, marine-grade pressure-treated lumber from Keys Deck & Dock Supply is perfect for decks, exposed structures, and other applications near significant bodies of water. Our chromated copper arsenate (CCA) treated wood is more natural looking and less corrosive to fasteners, and it looks good longer than many other outdoor preservative-treated products.

If you're planning to build a new structure near water, there's no one better to rely on for your materials supply than Keys Deck & Dock Supply. Our team has over 30 years of combined industry experience, which has given us the extensive knowledge and expertise necessary to help you find the best solution to your building dilemmas.

Call Keys Deck & Dock Supply today for all your marine-grade and pressure-treated lumber needs. We offer excellent manufacturer warranties. Once you decide on the size and style of your marine pressure-treated lumber, you can count on us for next-day delivery possible!

Marine-Grade Lumber Sizes

Other Lumber Alternatives

It’s important to note that marine-treated wood isn’t the only high-quality decking option available. In fact, plastic marine lumber options are quickly becoming an increasingly popular alternative for their advanced array of benefits.

Ipe Decking

Ipe is a Brazilian hardwood that is commonly used for deck and dock projects. It has a typical lifespan of over 50 years due to its extreme hardness. Natural ipe is a rich brownish-red color that will gray over time, turning into a beautiful weathered look. If you wish to keep it the rich brown color, you'll need to periodically use a deck cleaner and apply Penofin oil.

Tropical Decking

If you still prefer real wood over other high-tech alternatives, we stock Tropical Decking from Sunbelt Forest Products. This product is 2-in × 6-in with a uniform 1/2-in radius edge on all four sides. We stock the decking with the Preserve Plus® treatment and an added water repellent, making the boards increasingly resistant to decay, mold, and termites. We also have a copper azole (CA) pressure treatment we apply to the center of the boards for a longer-lasting product. We stock Tropical Decking in a variety of lengths, including 10-ft, 12-ft, 14-ft, and 16-ft.

Pilings

We stock marine-grade treated piles with a 2.5 CCA as well. Typical sizes in stock are:

  • 8-in butt x 18-ft
  • 9-in butt x 18-ft
  • 10-in butt x 20-ft
  • 10-in butt x 25-ft
